A local film company brought this beauty in for us to fix up. We decided to do a little research as there was no doubt in our minds that despite it being in great condition this bike was ‘vrek’ old.
Turns out it is a Ladies British Loop frame circa. 1900 – 1920 (!) in the exact same frame design as Triumph, Raleigh, Humber, Phillips.
These are the things that make it unique:
Chrome fork detail
Vintage Czechoslovakian ‘Favorit’ coaster back brake
Fully encased chaincase – old Raleigh roadsters had ones with a full plate on the front too which was Raleigh branded with cool artwork
Front tyre brake system – mostly found on Triumphs
Such a priviledge to be visited by this piece of history!
